Did You Know?

Since 9/11, I have been sending web information about Islam to one of my dear friends (No, I am not referring to Mustang this time). My friend has compiled those many forwards numbering in the hundreds, has done independent research, and has written the following e-letter. Please notice the last paragraph. How many Americans are thinking this way? Here is the e-letter, posted here without links or further commentary from me.
Everyone should read the following and remember. We have a serious problem in this country (actually, more than a few problems) - all continued to allow to "fester" because of political correctness and freedoms allowed to those who do not earn freedoms, to those who abuse freedoms, to those who do not deserve our freedoms; and they are the same ones who WILL cut our throats and take our freedoms away.

"They" - the leaders of Muslim organizations who have brazenly stated that they want to see the Qu'ran the highest authority in America - have stated that they want to see America become an Islamic State. AND, they have also stated that they will see all this come to pass - without violence - but through our educational system and our political system, and they are using our own laws - which allow them to state grievances and win sympathy with such complaints as, "I'm being profiled," etc.

Did you know that a Muslim organization called CAIR (the Council on American Islamic Relations) placed 8000 packets in our public libraries - info about ISLAM from the viewpoint they decided. Did you know that Muslims regularly take groups into our public schools to demonstrate and teach about Ramadan. Does Ramadan sound familiar? It is a Muslim religious celebration. Try to go into a public school and teach about Christmas, the birth of Christ, the Crucifixion and the Resurrection. Try merely to lead in prayer - the best you can do is hold a moment of silence. Try to sing a Christmas carol. We now attend Winter Concerts - no Christmas carols, not one song that hints of anything other than snow, Frosty the Snowman, Jingle Bells, etc.

And, did you know that your tax dollars support the hundreds of Islamic organizations? That is right - they are non-profit - they are Islamic religious organizations. We allow these organizations to take away our freedoms with our own money. We allow these organizations to exist in our midst, planning our demise, and we allow them to do so without paying any taxes.

Did you know that Muslim schools in this country, of which there are more than 300, teach hatred for Americans and teach violence against Americans? Did you know that most of the Muslim schools are financially supported by the Government of Saudi Arabia? You know, that wonderful kingdom who pretends to be our friend. The Government of Saudi Arabia adopted Wahhabism, the most violent sect of ISLAM, established many years ago as the only permitted religion of Saudi Arabia. The Government of Saudi Arabia even selects the teachers and pays them to teach in schools right here in the United States. The Government of Saudi Arabia selects Imams (the priests of Mosques) to serve as head of Mosques, thereby getting their message of hate and violence out. Mosques provide sanctuary, homes, money, etc., to terrorists. Not just the 9/11 terrorists. Mosques provide ongoing support to terrorists.

Did you know that there are more than 1500 mosques in this country? Our hands are tied - they enjoy complete immunity to the law of the land. Most of these mosques are financially supported by Saudi Arabia and thereby are on "Saudi soil" (all embassies of other nations - here in America enjoy the same immunity - that is why a foreign national connected to an embassy can kill someone and flee the country and cannot be touched by our laws). Which, of course, means we have a little Saudi Arabia in our midst. We have no legal jurisdiction, can take no police action against, and cannot not even raid or investigate - no matter what they teach against us. They can conduct any business they want in the walls of a mosque. And most of the business conducted is how to conquer and rule America.

Did you know that once a Muslim is buried in the ground - in a cemetery- that Muslims believe that they own that land? Did you know that Muslims are buried without being embalmed? Do you realize the dangers of that practice? Don't believe me? Read about Muslims suing for ownership of the Taj Mahal. That is right. There are Muslims buried in the basement of the Taj Mahal and, therefore, Islamists believe they own a part of it and are suing for ownership and to collect a large percentage of the total of millions of dollars collected annually from tourists. The Taj Mahal represents goodness and love to most. Islam does not. How can Islamists be allowed own a portion of the beautiful Taj Mahal? Do you see the irony?

Did you know that Susan Douglass, an American convert to Islam, was a teacher in one of the largest Muslim schools in the nation, which happens to be in the shadow of the U.S. Capitol (her husband is the head of another Muslim school here)? She now consults with three of the largest public school textbook publishers in America to change American and world history in our textbooks. It is now being taught that there were Muslims who arrived with Christopher Columbus! Susan Douglass decides what the children of America will learn about ISLAM - and the information is stated positively.

Here's the truth: there is nothing positive about ISLAM. However, if you log onto some of the Islamic websites and you read information printed by Islamists, you will find yourself thinking - "This sounds good." That is the snake trying to rope you in.

Very good stuff. PC is gonna kill us. I wrote a while back on how Islam is being put into our public schools while the Bible is being taken out. America needs to wake up and shake off the moonbat dust, harvest the crust from its eyes, and stand up, lest we fall.

If I had school age children I think I'd be checking out the books they would be using before the begining of every school year. A few years ago I heard something about a lady being removed from a school by the police because of this. I stopped by today to see if you had seen this,http://www.worldnetdaily.com/news/article.asp?ARTICLE_ID=45614

Jay 777,
Just to let you know...My friend despises the ACLU too. But you probably had already guessed that.

PS: I love the term "moonbat dust"!

Ron,
I can't prove this, but my guess is that there might have been an Arab navigator within Columbus's crew as many Arabs had astrolabe skills. [Remember that Arab doesn't always = Muslim. There are many Christian Arabs!] However, you can bet your last dollar that if there was a Muslim in Columbus's crew, the fellow didn't face toward Mecca and bang his head on the deck five times a day; he would have been a secret Muslim. By 1492, Spain had pretty well cleansed the nation of the Moors (Muslims).

Personally, I don't believe the story about the Muslims within Columbus's crew.

And, yes, Columbus was a devout Catholic. He was sincere when he made declarations of dedication to God. History books now conveniently omit that fact.

Revisionist history abounds, and such revisionism results in the downfall of a culture.

PS: Susan Douglass should be placed on trial for something. How about sedition and treason?

David,
Thank you for pointing out the WND article. I hadn't stopped there today on my web rounds. Too busy with the WMAL story!

I noticed the following in the WND story:
1. "innocent civilians"--I'd like a Muslim definition of that one. Infidels are neither innocent nor civilians in the teachings of the Koran.

2. this excerpt--
"Responding to CAIR's comment, scholar and author Robert Spencer told WorldNetDaily the group's 'rush to condemn this isolated incident only underscores their curious silence after the great majority of Islamic terror attacks. Terror is indeed terror, but there is no organized movement of Jewish – or Christian – terrorists using their scriptures to justify that terror,' said Spencer."

Additionally, Spencer spoke this morning (August 5) on Fox News. He lays out the dangers like nobody else does.

Here's some info from the Washington Post @
http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-2005/08/04/
AR2005080401350_pf.html :

"In a statement, Prime Minister Ariel Sharon called the shooting 'a reprehensible act by a bloodthirsty Jewish terrorist who sought to attack innocent Israeli citizens.' ...In his statement, Sharon called Thursday's attack 'a terrorist event' and said it was 'a deliberate attempt to harm the fabric of relations among all Israeli citizens. Terrorism by civilians against civilians is the most dangerous thing affecting the future of the state of Israel and its stability as a democracy.'...Israeli police officials said Zada, the son of secular Jewish parents, had recently moved to the West Bank settlement of Tapuah. Many of the community's roughly 600 residents are followers of the late Meir Kahane, who favored the expulsion of Arabs from Israel and the land it occupied in the 1967 war. Many settlers believe the land was promised to the Jewish people by God. Kahane's followers founded a yeshiva, or Jewish religious academy, in the settlement. The religious-political movement he inspired, known as Kach, is designated as a terrorist organization by the State Department."

So it's not just CAIR, the ultimate public-relations organization for Muslims, issuing a condemnation, is it?

But CAIR will get more credit than Sharon, I predict.

In an above comment, David mentioned the importance of reviewing the school textbooks. I don't have children, but I availed myself of my right as a taxpayer to review the texts. As taxpayers, all citizens of a particular school district have that right. Use it! Children are the future of this nation.

Houghton Mifflin publishes the school texts in question -
a specific instance can be read at Daniel Pipes weblog -
http://www.danielpipes.org/comments/20546

And further discussion about that particular school district's issues were followed with intensity at a blog called "the tears of things"

The subversion of our children's education through manipulative and deceptive texts must be tackled once and for all.

As for CAIR . . .I visited their website today and noticed that there is a provision on their homepage for 'adopting a library'. This action must be countered with a similar 'adopt a library' program , by providing each of our library's a stack of books by Robert Spencer, Ibn Warraq, Bat Ye'or, as well as some of the many books recommended by Hugh Fitzgerald - such as:

Anonymous,
Thank you so much for posting your comment!

You wrote: "This action must be countered with a similar 'adopt a library' program , by providing each of our library's a stack of books..." Yes! Infidels can adopt libraries!

I am already planning to buy multiple copies of Spencer's latest book "The Politically Incorrect Guide to Islam," in order to donate copies to the public libraries around my area. We keep being told that another attack here is inevitable. If there is indeed another attack, educated people will use the library and do research, as my friend and I did after 9/11.

You have provided an excellent comprehensive list (I admit that I am not familiar with all these books), and I hope that readers of this blog will take your suggestion. BTW, donation books to public libraries also provides a tax deduction, I believe. While buying books is expensive, a tax deduction will help to offset the expense (for those who itemize on their returns).

I feel another blog coming on, whereby I will list these books, front and center. In fact, I will get a blog about your proposal up on Tuesday, August 9. Additionally, I will notify everyone in my email address book to promote this concept of adopting a library.

Tackling the textbook issue is more difficult. I, personally, had no impact when I objected to a portion of a fifth-grade World Studies text. Our curriculum department and our school boards are so pc that it's frightening. As a homeschool teacher, I can reach a body of students, but that body is not nearly as large as that of the public-education system.

Perhaps you have suggestions as to how to tackle the subversion in textbooks. Other readers are also invited to submit ideas.

To add to what neptune said:

The Portuguese had also managed to kick the Moors out more than 300 years earlier, although they still tolerated Muslims and Jews. It is highly doubtful whether the Portuguese navigator would have been Muslim or Jewish; all of Portugal was squarely within Christendom, and Muslims were second class citizens then.

Many of the Muslims and Jews who had been expelled by Isabella and Ferdinand in 1492 ended up in Lisbon. Many of those people either converted to Catholicism or went to Morocco or Turkey eventually.

Interestingly, some people believe that the Portuguese had actually reached the New World earlier than Columbus but had kept it secret for commercial reasons. Some accounts put Portuguese fishermen as fishing off of Canada even earlier.

I have heard that books that are donated to libararies are automatically sold at their library fundraising sales, and that if you want them to have a book, you have to ask them to order it.

I haven't had time yet to ask about that where I live, but maybe someone here knows.

About library donations

Each system has policies about donating books. I went to my library system's home page and did a bit of research on this topic.

Yes, sometimes donated books are sold. CAIR ensures that their donations are not sold by encouraging CAIR members to check out the books on a periodic basis. My system will keep a book if there is enough reader interest.

If CAIR can manage to get books into library systems, we infidels should be able to do the same. Probably a matter of proper organization.

Also, many private schoools very much want book donations. Christian schools will place books of Christian orientation. Secular private schools might do the same.

Did you know that Muslims are buried without being embalmed? Do you realize the dangers of that practice?

Uh... neither are Jews. That's why we have to be buried so fast. ;)

you commented on my site that my post was better than yours. i have to disagree...yours is great.very thorough and well written post.
only thing i would argue with is that everyone that doesn't die of an infectious disease should be buried without embalming which is only a huge waste of money and polluting to boot.
better to be buried in a pine box so you can return to the earth...
