D.C. Sniper Makes A Request

When the D.C. Snipers were arrested, mention was made of a "personal jihad." The media hushed that one up pretty quickly.
But in this article from Gates of Vienna, we have the following information:
"During the Beltway Sniper crisis, back in the fall of 2002, a series of articles in The Washington Times described John Allen Muhammad’s conversion to Islam, and his later break with the Nation of Islam (the articles are no longer available, but extracts have been preserved here). Apparently the NOI was not militant enough for Mr. Muhammad, and he left it to become involved with a group called Jamaat ul-Fuqra (Arabic for 'community of the impoverished'), a terrorist organization founded by a notorious Pakistani cleric, Sheikh Mubarak Ali Gilani."From today's Washington Post, here is an excerpt from an article entitled "Muhammad Asks to Defend Himself":
"Sniper John Allen Muhammad has written a letter to a Maryland judge saying he wishes to represent himself during his first-degree murder trial because he has "no confidence or trust" in the two public defenders assigned to the case.Perhaps Muhammad wants to live after all. Or perhaps he's looking for a forum in which to explain his commitment to Islam. Perhaps Moussaoui's model in court has inspired Muhammad:
"'I'm very patience, now I have no more patience with Paul and/or Brian,' Muhammad wrote in a three-page letter, referring to Montgomery County public defender Paul DeWolfe and Brian Shefferman, two well-respected lawyers. 'All they have done is "lied" to me over and over Can you help me, I knew that I would need to fight in the court room but I didn't know that I would need to do that out side of the court room.'
"Montgomery Circuit Court Judge James L. Ryan filed Muhammad's handwritten letter as a motion and scheduled a hearing for tomorrow to discuss its merits.
"'We expect to fully address the issues Mr. Muhammad addressed in his letter before Judge Ryan,' DeWolfe said yesterday. He declined to respond in greater detail to the letter.
"Muhammad wrote that he would appreciate 'stand-by' attorneys 'to assistance me in mine defence. Not to defend me in mine defence.'
"Muhammad said he has tried unsuccessfully to get his attorneys to tell the court that he wants to represent himself because 'I don't want what happened in Va. on the first day of the trial.'
"Muhammad, 45, fired and re-retained his attorneys during his Virginia murder trial in the fall of 2003. He was sentenced to death in March 2004 after being convicted of killing one of 10 people slain during the sniper shootings that terrified the Washington area in October 2002.
"He is scheduled to go on trial May 1 on charges that he randomly killed six people in Maryland with a high-powered rifle in the 2002 slayings. Lee Boyd Malvo, 20, who is alleged to be his accomplice and who also has been convicted of murder in Virginia, is scheduled to be tried in October...."

Given taqiyya and kitman, and all the Islamic orders to deceive and play non-Muslims against each other for the sake of Islam, these people become highly skilled liars by age 8. They don't recognize truth as even possibly existing outside of the rigid structure of Islam. Even when they are being nice to you, you do not know if you are being played, or if they are being sincere. They seem really comfortable being this way.
The only thing they can be counted on for is what a Muslim told a CNS.com news reporter: ‘[From] a Muslim foreigner who … responded to the question of whether or not Muslims in the U.S. can be trusted:
"They are taught to be great neighbors and obey the laws of the countries in which they reside until they are called up," the man is quoted as saying. "Then, they will slice your throats as easily as they came to your barbeques."’ (From World Net Daily, 16 August 2005)
Among other things, that is a pathetic state for Muslims to put themselves into. Too bad the American Psychiatric Association dumped its old personality disorder classification of "sociopath." That term used to apply to folks like the Mafioso who were loyal only to the "family." All of this changed long before jihad burst on the modern scene, yet these Islamists seem really to fit the old term of sociopath.
How can any rational person take a Muslim's word and oath in court? I don't know, but I worry that people do and never question any of this. Long live ignorance!

I remember that, when they were caught, the media went out of its way to avoid mentioning the connection with Islam. The impression they gave were that Malvo & Muhammed were just ordinary "nutcases". Then they mentioned a conection with the film "The Matrix"-- all sorts of interesting psychological theories, anything to avoid mentioning Islam.
Then I came across Lee Malvo's drawings, on the site of the Fairfax (Va) court system, submitted as evidence. I looked later, they were no longer on that site, but I found this link link to them.

Moussaoui Offered to Implicate Himself
Zacarias Moussaoui wanted to be a witness for the prosecution -- and against himself.
On the eve of his death penalty trial last month, Moussaoui met with prosecutors and offered to testify for them in exchange for better jail conditions before he was put to death, jurors were told late yesterday. The al-Qaeda operative withdrew the offer when he realized he had the right to testify on his own behalf and when prosecutors insisted that he also tell them about other terrorist plots.
"Have you ever heard of a defendant in a capital case offering to testify against himself?" defense attorney Edward B. MacMahon Jr. asked an FBI agent who took the stand after the news was revealed to the jury.
"No, not in my experience," said agent James M. Fitzgerald.
It was the latest bizarre turn in a trial that is expected to go to the jury today. Before defense attorneys rested their case that Moussaoui is not eligible for the death penalty, jurors heard testimony that one of Moussaoui's terrorist bosses thought he was "not right in the head"...
"Jamaat ul-Fuqra"..This is a group that both you and I have reported on before. They operate training camps here in the Catskill Mountains and I believe they are also found in the Virginia area. This is one of the most violent anti-American Islamic groups and yet they are allowed to own acres of secluded land right here in America. Doesn't make much sense to me.
One other interesting note from a story in the New York Times, which was buried in the article and not expounded on there, is the time and date that John Muhammad had his "sniper-mobile" registered on. He registered the vehicle, according to the Times, on September 11, 2002 and wrote the time of registry in as the exact time that the 1st plane hit the WTC. I can give the exact article source once I get home, but I had to point that out here for now.

At the beginning of this week, my best friend had a car accident, which was not her fault. You guessed it! She was broadsided by illegals, and her vehicle was totaled. Thank God that she suffered no bodily injury, or this situation would be untenable.
I myself did suffer PEPRMANENT personal injury when I was rear-ended by an immigrant (I don't know if he's legal or illegal) last spring. No attorney will take my case--the fellow has no assets. I haven't had a moment without pain since the accident.

As for anti American? John Muhammad has stated that his attacks were revenge attacks against this country. You really can't get much more anti-American than that, nor can you read too much else into the term there. This was an actual spree of terrorism with the goal of making Americans suffer.
