Hi AOW
Mr Galloway, this man(gender reference only) is openly advocating treason, now I do not like Blair(I cannot understand why America does)but to agree that the assassination of the Prime Minister is justifiable is typical of this persons utterly skewed and somewhat questionable personality.
I hope he is arrested, alas if this did happen the Home Office would lose him or set him free on some pretext of the Human Rights act
Or lack of moral terpitude!
tmw
publicly calling for assassinations...hmm..why hasnt he been arrested?
I wonder if he's going to be repremanded for his vile and disgusting actions? Anybody else making terroristic threats would be carted off to jail. Galloway sold his soul long ago.
Notice his disclaimer— “I am not calling for it”—after he says it is totally justified. He gives moral sanction to the act, suggests other might be justified in initiating such a crime, and he’s all but given the go-ahead. But he’s “not calling for it,” knowing full well that those who contemplate such acts aren’t waiting for his command … only his welcoming sentiments.
Has he gone completely mad? He’s morally justified violating the law and killing the Prime Minister! Note such justification is logically extended to Members of Parliament … not that I’m calling for it! ;)
*roll eyes*
He and Pat Robertson should go bowling!
Seriously, how the Hell is he getting away with this?
"Look at me, Look at me! I'm a controverisal political figure and a 'champion' against the man! Look, I'm all that is liberal, my acceptance and appeasement has no bounds!"
Mr Galloway will insist poverty is to blame when he's mugged in the street, and that conservative and capitialists are the culprit.
If they'd stop giving him a microphone and a camera spot... he'd probably have to go back to his only true talent... street begger.
Why are any of you surprised ? Did you think Commie Ken was going to stop at Jews and Israelis ? Livingstone has been a personal friend of Saddam for years.
I have to wonder like Angel does...why hasn't he been arrested?
Mr. Ducky,
No, this was from an interview with GQ Magazine. But, you are correct that he did very recently appear on Cuban television as well. He caused some controversy there by hugging and praising Castro, which is well within his rights.
I am not so sure it is well within his rights to give moral license for the murder of his Prime Minister.
Pat Robertson made a comment about assassinating Hugo Chavez, and the media came down on Robertson--and rightly so. Will the media take on Galloway?
Spouting moral justification for killing the Prime Minister is inexcusable, IMO.
Galloway is one of my leftist heroes. No one demonstrates the absolute absence of intellect that leftism demands of its torchbearers quite like that twit.
Beamish,
You have leftist heroes? Hehehe.
Beakerkin,
We shouldn't really be surprised, I suppose. But somehow we usually are when a leftist mentions the murder of a public official of his own nation.
Jason,
Has he gone completely mad? He’s morally justified violating the law and killing the Prime Minister! Note such justification is logically extended to Members of Parliament … not that I’m calling for it!.
Sounds to me like Galloway is spouting treason and anarchy--with a disclaimer, of course.
G,
Galloway is a show-boater, but this comment from him is way over the top.
I wonder how the members of Parliament feel about the comment?
Jason's right, He's "not calling for it" , just wishing his Jihadi pals would do the deed for him.
AOW,
You have leftist heroes? Hehehe.
Of course. Why should I spend valuable time demonstrating the correlation between leftism and stupidity when leftists jump at every opportunity to do so?
just goes to show that depending who you are and what you represent makes all the difference as to whether your words are welcome or not. galloway is lower than dirt.
AOW,
A translated quote from an interview conducted by Ahcene Halimi with
George Galloway, in London, published by Algerian newspaper El-Khabar website on 19 February:
[Halimi] Many people are wondering where you derive this strength with which
you speak and defy the powerful. Is there a secret power behind you?
[Galloway - in Arabic] This strength comes from God.
[Halimi] You constantly use nice Arabic words, in addition to your relations
with Arabs and Muslims. Does that mean that you have converted to Islam but
you cannot admit that publicly?
[Galloway - shaking his head] This issue is between me and God. This answer
is directed at you, the Algerian journalist, and at everyone who asks me
this question.
Missing Link,
[Galloway - in Arabic] This strength comes from God.
Well, well, well. That explains a lot, I think.
AOW,
This is what people in UK think as well.
Andy became Andullah.
Mark,
George Galloway is nothing but a sensationalist (and idiot)!
He seems to take the prize for a member of Parliament. I've seen him interviewed a few times and have thought to myself, "What's with this guy?"
How does he get elected?
Of course, being in the UK, you know more about him than I do. I know that Blair is slipping in the polls these days. Is Galloway doing some politicaly jockeying?
Storm,
I still say he gets reelected.
Probably so.
As you pointed out, Nagin got reelected. That one still amazes me.
Mr B is correct. Galloway is a useful tool. His stupid stunts prove how shallow our Leftist enemies are.
I hope he has a long life and continues to stay in the public eye...
You mean it's not okay to have a freezer full of bribe money?
