Temporarily Overwhelmed
The time of year for grading projects, producing the variety pageant, and averaging grades has arrived. I've also had an extremely painful relapse of the back injury sustained last year, when I was rear-ended by a cab driver. Therefore, my postings and responses here will probably be erratic and/or of a different type for the next few weeks.
I'm not taking a hiatus in the true sense of the term, but work obligations and health concerns must take precedence for the next few weeks. My Friday reports on the Symposium will also resume after the school term ends on June 1.
I will continue to make blog rounds as I'm able and as time permits.
Thank you in advance for your understanding.

AoW- Take care of that back! You only get issued one! The rest is called life, happens to the best of us. Get your rest and don't worry about us, you won't lose your readers! We'll go give Nanc a run for her money, that'll keep everybody occupied until you hit a breather! S'okay? Go deal with your stuff.

Good luck with the back...I fortunately have no back pain, but, people I know who do, suffer debilitating pain. I wish you well.
Just take care of yourself and don't worry about other things.
We'll visit daily anyway.
AOW,
It's summertime! (almost)
You're supposed to be kicked back in a bathtub full of bubbles contemplating ways to make next year's students cringe and beg for educational mercy.
Take care of yourself, or else! :P
Oh girl - this end of year school cram has got me nearly over the edge. I hope that your back is better soon! Take good care of yourself!!
I understand perfectly well about being completely overwhelmed. I don't suffer from back problems though, and pray that your back gets much better soon and stays that way.
It's 9:00am my time and I've already spent two hours in the garden weeding. Since our friend and gardner passed away last week my life has become a bit overwhelming as well. No long bubblebaths for me, just a lot of quick showers. :(
I've linked you to both of my blogs.
I thought I WAS taking care of my back!
I see the orthopedist on June 15 for an evaluation.
I'd love to take a bubblebath, but getting in and out of the tub is tricky. I've learned the meaning of "I've fallen and I can't get up."
miss ya already!...hurry back n sure..mosey around n leave yer comments if ure up to it!..get well soon AOW!
no excuses... it's not like any of us have ever taken extended leaves of absense (cough cough)
Get yourself a nice recliner and a laptop till you get in to that orthopedist!
Good luck with the end of the year blitz!
better you take care of first things first! and like you said, you'll be out and about making rounds - just leave a.c. post up top and we'll all know where to meet!
What's going on here?
I don't want to hear any excuses, your blog comes first.
lol
I won't be taking an extended absence. In fact, I worked on an article today and will put it up sometime next week--after I've done some proofing.
But the bulk of my "spare" time from now until June 15 is taken up with legal matters, doctors' appointments, getting massages, and doing end-of-year grades.
I've been working from a laptop for over a year now for most of my blogging. The desktop is upstairs, and climbing those stairs is a problem--and has been a problem since the car accident.
And I'm finding a bit of time to make blog rounds. Guess I'm addicted to the blogosphere!
AoW- I GOT WARRENED! YIPPEE!

AoW- We need help on Warren's blog, EB transformed into the Energizer Bunny, then ran right off a cliff! It's getting weird over there!

ODL - tmw has lost what's left of her mind...
Who said I had a mind? Huh? Who blabbed?
