yeah - and if you put beef in your chili beans, you too can be responsible for the greenhouse gas state of affairs...that's precisely the reason i wouldn't allow nancpop to put any beans in our chili yesterday.

Nanc,
I couldn't resist posting this story before hitting the sack for my Friday-afternoon nap.

My nap awaits, and the winds here are howling. I suspect that I'll lose electric power this afternoon, but maybe the outages will be intermittent.

The next thing you know, some liberal legislator will be sponsoring a bill that requires ranchers to spread Beano on pastures and hay bails.

Since poor people account for 90% of human CO^2 emissions, shouldn't they pay 90% of the emissions taxes? All we need to do is patent a new pair of emissions measuring underwear, and we can tax the third world into population control (especially the pseudostinians... @ a world-leading ~4.9% annual pop. growth rate(?))

...along with a statement that 50% of Pseudostinians are under the age of 15. Your UN World Relief $ at work...

Good Afternoon, AoW! My God, you just KNOW some Lefty professor is going to write up a grant proposal to study this!

If you think cows are bad, what do you think caused the last ice age?
Dinosaur farts!

Storm,
Is any one here old enough to remember the ice age scare of the late 60's early 70's.

Yep. I heard that in biology class when I was in college. I'll bet some of those same professors, if they are still living, are now talking about global warming.

KuhnKat,
If you are interested I have a number of articles about recent discoveries and reiterations of earlier discoveries showing how the current global warming is NATURAL (like the sun's cycles).

Send them to me if you have time:
AlwaysOnWatch@aol.com

Oh, and we simply must pass laws to prevent farts. **snerk**

All those vegetation-eaters must have been releasing loads of gas. Hehehe.

Donal,
some Lefty professor is going to write up a grant proposal to study this!

I wouldn't be surprised. After all, if the UN says that cow farts are a problem, it must be so.

Farmer,
emissions measuring underwear

Maybe we'll hear about this new invention in a few years. Give the science-fair students just a bit of time.

But would such underwear be condemned as a method of profiling?

Old Soldier,
The next thing you know, some liberal legislator will be sponsoring a bill that requires ranchers to spread Beano on pastures and hay bails.

Does Beano work on ruminants? Would have to be maximum strength, I think.

A spectacular conflagration. Might be as severe as a solar flare. ;)

Leftistas crack me up with their "chicken-little" imitations!
And I remember the "ice age" scare, the whole thing was hilareous, "We are going to get so hot, that the greenhouse gasses will cause a blanket around the Earth that will cause solar rays to bounce off into space, while we slowly freeze to death!" :rolling of eyes: Honestly, they all need to get "real" jobs and have something better to do with their time, energy and what little brains they have left. Like; paying bills, doing laundry, taking something out of the freezer for dinner, PAY TAXES...
Good morning, G*D bless and Maranatha!

OMG! My ten year old has to write an essay on global warming this coming week. She is not sure what she believes when presented with the question, "Is global warming real, and is it an immediate problem?"

We are going data searching soon - THIS is going to be very interesting!

Thanks AOW - and kuhnkat, I'll be emailing you, hon.

Oh - and I do remember the whole 'ice age' scare way back when.

It's like I've always said. Cow farts are destroying the ozone layer! Wake up and smell the bullshit!

Mr. Beamish,
LOL!

Does the above Beamishism have a number?

AOW - I got your links - thank you so much. I can hardly wait!

kuhnkat - I can't for the life of me find your email address - sorry.

We probably have enough ammo anyway.

Take care all!

AOW,

That Beamishism dates back to the early 1990s. Probably # 3,723 but I'll have to check.

After reading this post, does anyone still care to sign my petition to ban di-hydrogen monoxide emissions and prevent its' runoff into our lakes and streams?

FJ,

That dihydrogen monoxide is deadly stuff. I've seen people nearly asphyxiate from getting it in their lungs.
