Time to weed the garden!

CAIR should also have been counted, considering their ties to terror. Here in Cincinnati, we have a large CAIR office, ran by Karen Dabdoud. She has made several atrocious anti-semitic statements. The latest is almost a month old, as they haven't updated their website recently: (emphasis mine)

STOP THE TERROR RALLY
Central Ohio Rally Against Israeli Atrocities in Lebanon and Palestine
WHAT: Rally to demonstrate against Israeli atrocities in Lebanon
and Palestine

WHEN: Friday, July 28, 2006 at 3:30 pm
After Friday Prayer

WHERE: Federal Building
Downtown Columbus, Corner of Spring and High Streets

Come and bring your family and Friends

No to destruction. No to the collective punishment of civilians - Not in our
name. Not with our money.

Israel's war against civilians:
The Right to Fight, Or the Might to Smite?

State Terrorism, unchallenged...
Hundreds of thousands of innocent civilians attacked in full view of the
world

It's time Israel be held accountable for its crimes

Enough special treatment

Not in our name, not with our money
134 billion dollars of U.S. taxpayer money spent on Israel since 1949

Stand up. Speak out.
Demand a cease fire now

Join us in protest against Israel's campaign of death and destruction
against an unarmed civilian population

Enough hypocrisy to make you vomit, huh?

Interesting how this is a close approximation of the RED/BLUE divide isn't it.

Blue states are more open to traitorus, murdering, anti-americans who are involved in buying government influence and subverting it. Makes a great fit!!

The civil war should be REALLY ugly this time.

I dunno, Debbie; just recently, WND reported that on 21 June, "Homeland Security took a Muslim group with known past ties to terror organizations (CAIR) on a VIP tour of security operations at the nation's businest airport at the same time British authorities were working to break up a plot to blow up U.S. airlines."

Now, isn't that special?

You go, girl! The "Weeds" include all these Islamic groups already mentioned AND a big bunch of Useful Idiots in our own government!

Go Tennessee!!

I wouldn't have too much hope in this department.
They are publick servants (after all)with very little initiative and a lot of PC rules and regulations.
Thanks to Politically Correct 'legal eagles' our (Western) inlligence is paralized by so called need for legal evidence before ANY real action can be taken.
How can you 'watch' if bugging is illegal?
How can you search for double sets of books if you do not have an official search warrant?

Unfortunately, once we allowed the enemy INSIDE, the existing 'security system' fails totally to provide any real security. The current system is not designed at all to deal with such situation. The enemy is supposed to be 'outside' not 'inside'.
The old system of watching embassies and foreign 'cultural centres' is gone with the wind.
Even then it was very difficult to discover real moles and spies.
The existing system was designed to protect ALL citizens.
How does is it suppose to work now when such a large proportion of our society wishes quick and painful death to the host?
Even our criminal system cannot deal with crime which hasn'y been committed yet.

How come you left out the part where Karen Dabdoud also rails against all the tax money we gave to the late, unlamented Arafat that he either banked for himself or used to finance terrorism, and the U.N. continues to contribute to Hamas via their "Palestinian refugee" organization?

Oh, wait...

Well, in Fla. I have 2 Al quaeda and na Islamic Jihad between 2-3 hrs. away! I'm surprised Melbourne isn't on the map, there is quite a little enclave near a couple of private engineering colleges! Wonder why? They have all their stores, centers et. al. there! That's where the beachside mohammahdins disappeared to after 9-11! I'm glad, I got tired of seeing the blackrobed, hijabed crows in the grocery store! They sure stood out with everyone else in shorts, t-shirts and flip-flops! I remember seeing a family in the local hospitals emergency room, he was me, she was from NY, wearing a green velvet robe, green hijab and green velvet slippers(it was the big feast ending ramadan) and their daughter. Stood out like sore thumbs! No way were they fussing over their daughter(at least in public) the way any other parents would care for their child in the ER! Very disturbing!
Good morning, G*D bless and Maranatha!

Mr. Beamish,
CAIR, in DC isn't listed, unless that's the Hamas group.

CAIR hasn't been identified by the feds as a terrorist group. CAIR's lawsuit against Anti-CAIR did not continue on until the financial records were open to scrutiny.

Romeocat,
I'm surprised they don't mention our little terrorist camp in Red Hill, VA.

But I do see "al-Fuqra" on the map in the Roanoke area, which is somewhat close to Red Hill.

Monica R,
I am shocked that Pennsylvania isn't a red state. I think they are missing some data.

The map is a few years old. See the lower-left corner.

O Bob,
LOL at your pithy comment about DK. Having a hand injury is conducive to conciseness.

Missing Link,
Yes, pc is the underlying problem. And as Cubed pointed out, CAIR is given red-carpet treatment: just recently, WND reported that on 21 June, "Homeland Security took a Muslim group with known past ties to terror organizations (CAIR) on a VIP tour of security operations at the nation's businest airport at the same time British authorities were working to break up a plot to blow up U.S. airlines."

Brooke,
As expected, from day one of the recent conflict between Israel and Lebanon, CAIR sided with Lebanon (Hezbollah?) and called for a cease-fire. The main web site for CAIR has had several announcements in that regard.

Patty,
Ahhhh geeeeezzz ya'll picking on em again huh?

Yup, yup.

Barry,
Maybe they should just move to Tehran NOW.

Rather than trying to change our society, why don't they do just that? But, no: take a look at the UK.

TMW,
'm surprised Melbourne isn't on the map, there is quite a little enclave near a couple of private engineering colleges! Wonder why? They have all their stores, centers et. al. there!

Oriana Fallaci once pointed out that once the halal markets move in, the numbers of Muslims in a particular area are really on the rise.

We have several HUGE halal markets in the D.C. area. At one of them, women clad in burqas go in and out in droves. Now, must how moderate is someone in a burqa?

BTW, this year Ramadan begins on September 23, if the proper moon-phase can be sighted with the naked eye (so says the WaPo)

Missing Link,
I'm afraid that many people--right and left--don't have a lot of respect for the feds and their investigations into possible terrorist-doings. Remember last winter's concern here and at some other blogs (including DFL) about "Lover of Angels"?

Sticky Notes,
I'll stop by your site to check on those maps you mentioned.

Mike,
I think they left Atlanta, Georgia off the map too. That's where we busted two Georgia Tech students who had links to the Toronto terrorists planning to blow up the Canadian Parliament building.

Those arrests occurred after the publication of this map. Maybe "Sticky Notes" has an updated map. See that comment from SN, above.

Ogre,
This map gives a whole new meaning to "red state." Ugh!

WHT,
Now that I know how to post graphics, when I find one with impact, up it goes. I may max out the bandwidth at this site, but I have a "Plan B." Forewarned is forearmed, ya know.

Seth,
In both Time and Newsweek last week, space was devoted to this question: Why haven't Muslims here in the States risen up as have those in Europe? I'm not particularly satisfied with the answers given because they follow Western reasoning, along with pc too, of course. Can anybody really believe that Hamas and Hezbollah are here to become Americans?

About 20 minutes from my home(Here in Ohio, we measure distance by time, LOL!), there is a suburban halal store a stone's throw away from a fairly large mosque. It is situated in a ritzy neighborhood that has a large amount of Muslims. Everyone walks around it on egshells; it is kind of weird/scary to see a nice, middle-income home with a dad and children playing in the yard... And a hijabed woman sitting on the porch, tending to their needs more as a servant than a wife.

Kev,
History is loaded with murdering animals who were thought to have been "good neighbors."

John Wayne Gacy, a serial killer, immediately comes to mind. And every time I hear those interviewed say, "I can't believe it! He was a good neighbor and so quiet. We never suspected anything," I think about Gacy. Appearances can be deceiving.

Anonymous,
Little Che Sucky Ducky the Cowardly Liar,

I am not surprised you are defending the Muslims. You seem to hae not met a mass murdering cult that you could really hate!!!

I've noticed that. But Duck has no problem criticizing and condemning various evangelicals.

AOW,

if we went on Crusade more often, with the same rules of engagement as the original, Cowardly would probably join the evangelicals immediately.

Of course, he wouldn't actually join to SERVE!!!

Alongside the map showing terrorist networks it would be great to see the concentrations of Judeo- Christian populations just to make the point that Islam is the bacteria and the Christians are the immune system fighting away with gusto.

Skylark,
If I knew how to make that graphic, I would do so. **sigh**

And this is an excellent analogy:

Unfortunately, the interfaithers are watering down the immune system.

Duck is decidedly anti-military. No surprise there.

The Crusades are much maligned. Now, I'm not here to defend the Crusades, but the Crusaders did invade for more than political purposes--they got pushed by war-waging Muslims.

Yes, Jamaat ul-Fuqra has presence in that region. Gates of Vienna has information about JF on the left sidebar.

Last year, my Brit Lit class read Ivanhoe. Have you ever read that book? It has some interesting info about the Crusaders.

AOW,

I believe I read it back in school. That is quite a while ago, so, I do not remember any details.

At 8/24/2006 7:07 AM, Blogger Always On Watch said...

Anonymous,
In Walter Scott's historical novel, Ivanhoe has returned from the Crusades; he is a man of integrity and is anti-Semitic in his own way and for the time in which he lived. But other knights, also Crusaders, are not men of honor, nor is the Catholic priest in the novel. In many ways, the hero of the novel is The Black Knight, who is Richard the Lion-Hearted.

One of the questions which my class discussed regarded a political leader. Neither Ivanhoe nor Richard made an effective political leader. While both men recognized evil and effectively fought against evil on the battlefield and in other armed conflicts in the novel, they were too much idealists; also, they were warriors and didn't know how to build a society (England was much fractured at the time).

Many literary critics maintain that the real hero in the novel could well be Rebecca, a Jewess. At least, many students in my class felt that way about Rebecca. And some students theorized that if Ivanhoe had married Rebecca he'd have been a much better man.

Sorry to run on and on. The novel is fresh in my mind. And the class and I found the book to be particularly effective about speaking to some problems which the world faces today.

AOW,

Thank you for running on. It is of interest.

Unfortunately, honest, moral men can NOT lead immoral types effectively because of the lying, backbiting, and selfishness. A moral person will not go behind the backs of the perps and use their tactics.

The devil is strong, we must depend on Him for our strength even when it would seem that we must fail or lose by not availing ourselves of immoral tactics.

The LEFTIES accuse us of being black and white. The Devil is in the GREY also as we have seen here in the US so consistently!!! By allowing ourselves to accept the grey we have given the devil his foothold!!!

Witholding a decision because we can not see the way clearly just means we must pray more for guidance.

If it's grey you must keep it away!!

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

The novel makes that point. Of course, because Ivanhoe is a novel, the message is subtle. But the message is there!

The Devil is in the GREY also as we have seen here in the US so consistently!!! By allowing ourselves to accept the grey we have given the devil his foothold!!!

Yes. See C.S. Lewis's The Screwtape Letters. The devil knows the weaknesses of humanity and exploits those weaknesses. Most times, our egos allow him that foothold.
