I'm very excited about this mini-vacation. A private swimming pool! I can relax with some cyberfriends and get my ortho-ordered laps done too.
The only drawback is that I'll be missing a quite prestigious music recital being given by one of my homeschoolers. But the musician understands, and I've attended several previous recitals. I hope that the parents will give me a CD!
My husband is, at this very minute, frantically executing the r&r of the Mustang's alternator. The alternator pooped out today--right here at our house. At least it didn't happen on the road!

The Mustang is fixed! We'll be leaving in a few hours.

P.S. the situation in the world plus the heat sure contributes to the tightening of muscles already tight from pain. A good bunch of laughing should help loosen you up! I'll pray that happens!

I don't know about that! My husband is quite a belly-flopper when he wants to be.

If it weren't so dry, we'd have launched some fireworks. My husband did take along the "Osama bomb": put a firecracker in Osama's mouth and watch his turban blow off. It's firesafe and hilarious.

I posted a bit about one of the, um, incidents at the party. Guess that I'm not "always on watch" when I'm exiting a swimming pool. LOL.

The only bad part about the party was that it was too short.

My back felt good at the party. I think the pain from my pirouette overrode the back pain.
